We’re sorry that connecting your iPhone to use with Lumox isn’t working as expected. This page has a few things you can try to get the connection working.

This article talks about iPhone exclusively, but all steps are equally applicable when connecting an iPad.

  1. Restart the iPhone

    Sometimes the iPhone gets stuck and refuses to talk to the Mac. A restart can resolve this.

    • Unplug the cable from the iPhone
    • Restart the device
    • Connect the cable again
  2. Restart the Mac

    If the steps above didn’t help, restarting your Mac can resolve a stuck device connection.

    • Unplug the cable from the iPhone
    • Restart your Mac by choosing Restart… from the top menubar
    • Open the Lumox app
    • Connect the cable again to the iPhone
